One error I noticed: The story takes place largely in Carter Crossing a fictitious town in the northeast corner of Mississippi near an Army base. And he has Carter Crossing filled with bars where the soldiers hand out in the evenings. But that section of Mississippi is actually dry. I really enjoyed it too, though I was just a teeny bit disappointed that the story had not taken up where Worth Dying For left off - on his way to meet the mysterious Susan in Virginia.
