I had actually subscribed to this thread without a SO Kindle, why, I'm not sure, but due to the sudden demise of my previous Kindle, I purchased one of these tonight and will now be paying much closer attention!
Couldn't ask for an easier transition from one device to another. It's all archived, and kept the places of my last couple books to boot.
