Once the road took a curve, and I didn't..

120 km/h, flying 17 metres, landed on my back well up in the mossclad hillside.
Personal result: *Huge* gash in my self esteem, two broken ribs and a broken thumb.
Bike result: $4.000 repair.

I did not pass out and found that I had the left side mirror in my hand.

Luckily it ended well. I sold that "hell-machine" shortly after repair and bought myself a smaller 900cc parallel twin so that the horns stayed inside and not growing out of my forehead.
