Surely that's the point. If they drop their spec. then they are competing with the likes of Sony and Amazon, and seeing as these are big companies I imagine it would be hard for them to produce a device with the same spec. as these companies and compete on price. If I wanted an e-book with limited features I'd buy one of these other things. But I want the features the iliad has.
