I worked at Toys R Us for a time. The day after Halloween, a shopper came in to buy some things. On the way out, he jokingly told my manager, "What? No Christmas music yet?" Don't you know, my manager put on the Christmas tape the very next day.

Every day we heard the same lame kids Christmas songs (including the Chipmonks, Muppets, Disney selections, pop Christmas junk, etc), repeating themselves every hour and a half for over two months. Today I don't care if I never hear another Christmas song...
