I think you mean eReader? not Ebook. Ebooks are what you read on an eReader, it would help if you could tell us what brand the Reader is and what model.

Does it have a cord to plug into the Computer? Readers like the Kobo Touch require you to download their desktop client in order to register the device and download books to it.
