I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this particular issue. I don't think any manufacturer has an obligation to provide updates beyond bug fixes for any equipment, whether it's currently sold or not. That said, it does seem a bit rubbish that they've provided this for some current models and not others.
I am curious about one thing, though. As a K3 owner, there are two parts to this update. Right now, personal documents appear in the "Manage your Kindle" part of the Amazon website, and I can use that to send them to my Kindle. When my Kindle gets the update, I'll be able to get them via my Kindle. Do K2 and DX owners get personal documents archived? If not, what happens if you have a K3 and a K2 or DX?
