Ok we are getting close, yes i'm strictly speaking of the T1. When I go to Notes nothing shows up. The way I make a bookmark is by tapping the upper right corner and when successful it looks like I folder the corner of a paperback down. But when I go to "Notes" the icon to the right are just faded and in the middle of the screen I get a box that gives the following statement; "There are no items in this list". In the upper left corner it says "notes" below it it says "all types".

I am pretty sure that before I had to perform a hard reset due to my reader going into "Demo Mode" bookmarks were available.

I think I'm sending this unit back for an exchange.

As always thanks for all of the help and responses, this forum is a fantastic place.Always helpful and friendly.
