I respect the guy, but I've seen way too many "we
hope to publish it by..." dates come and go on far too many books to lend this particular announcement much credence. The bottom line is that they are still waiting for final delivery of the manuscript.
I do hope it turns out to be true though. I think Lynch is an incredible talent and was saddened to learn about his personal emotional setbacks at such a crucial time in his writing career. It would be great to see him get back on track.
