So I read the User Guide & it says you can transfer from the Reader Software to the T1 device. Only it doesn't tell you how to do that. It tells you how to download from your computer to the device. So the new Reader Software is basically a waste for time for me. And I already know how to download form my computer. Been doing that with my Sony 350.

To top it off after trying to figure all this out my reader started flipping pages while reading the User Guide & then froze. This happened twice & I had to do a soft reset. So far that hasn't happened while reading a book.

I'm a bit frustrated & if it continues to have troubles I'm returning it to Best Buy. I have 30 days. And that is a shame because there are a lot of things I do like about it. But If I'm paying the money I paid for it, then all that it is advertised to do, it should do.
When you plug in your device, a new tab should appear on top of the software (next to 'Library' and 'Store'). Click on that tab, then click on the 'sync' tab. From there, you can select which collections you want to sync (the default is to sync everything, so you might have to stop it the first time around if you don't want that to happen).

Otherwise, go on your library, select the book you want and, if I remember correctly, there should be an option to transfer the book to your device under 'More Actions'. Going by memory, I don't have my PC in front of me....
