I haven't dug into it, but from what I gather, the condition is that they then destroy the pbook you send to be scanned.

Wow. This is tempting...
The only place I've been really leery of buying books from is Google. I can hardly ever tell what format their books are in. Is this epub, mobi, .PDF, cloud reading only, html?
