Quite frankly, I resent manufacturers telling retailers how much they should sell products for. Retailers give fair value to the manufacturer. From that point on, it should be up to the retailer to price. If they wish to take a loss, that's their business.

I, for one, refuse to pay Agency pricing for a book. Those greedy SOB's can choke on them for all I care!
