Alright, in some places we should take precaution: countries like the US, Middle East... and areas like airports, but come on! It's Vietnam! I know they say many things about our government, but they never let terrorists run loose here. Terrorism certainly is one thing you don't have to worry about when you're in Vietnam.

And it's only a library. Even if it was an Embassy, I still don't think that it is necessary for them to keep my ID card whenever I go in there. Just check it, see if I'm a criminal, get my name registered - that's okay. But I don't feel right to let anyone keep my own ID card for hours. I'm a civilized person, I don't need watching. I'm not about to set the whole place on fire, or massacre the librarians, to be honest.
