I'd trade my birthmark for a loaf of really good, dense bread. Something that you need two hands to lift the loaf. The stuff they sell here has the consistency of a Dacron pillow, and less flavor. Years ago there were two excellent German bakeries in the area (about an hour's drive away) but both closed as the breads, cookies, and cakes were not to Japanese taste. I'm a mediocre baker, and turn out 'edible' breads, but not 'good' breads. I want the stuff I get to eat in Europe!

Almost 9pm, time for a movie and a glass of tequila. Gonna watch "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" tonight (for the umteenth time) and tequila is the perfect beverage for it!
