In short without comprehensive explanations:
I'm using the repository of PRS+ (so I change PRS+ icons) and make custom builds of PRS+
That gives the possibility to remove the games of PRS+ (which I don't want on my reader).
1) Download the repository from PRS+ and install necessary software
2) open the folder for the reader model you want (350 in my case)
3) search for *.PNG-files which includes all the icons (there are several of them)
4) open PNG-file in Photoshop (or comparable software)
5) search icons by guessing you want to change
6) try to repaint icon; save file
7) make a custom build from PRS+
8) install the new (custom) version of PRS+
Icons itself: I'm just searching for ready Icons (in my case METRO-Style), alter them slightly and paste them into the mentioned iconfile.
It would be possible to alter the original firmware of the reader. I did it several times until that day I bricked my reader... Had to send it in for repair ;-)
