With so much sunshine around you wouldn't think Aussies wouldn't have low D3 but we do. I take both now. Prevention is better than a cure.

And for a real RANT . . . . don't get me started on the FDA and supplements.
I started taking D3 after I hit 60.

Supplements are one of those things with good/bad info on both sides. The current drivel in the newspapers, magazines, TV etc has it that you have a better chance of dying if you take vitamins.

A few vitamins, in large dosages, can cause serious problems. No dispute there. But those who are interested in taking supplements will easily find that info.

Some ninny in power is going to read one of those asinine studies and start regulating more sh_t.

Lets make up more headlines that are probably true;
Elderly more likely to die from touching public door knobs/handles. Many are catching colds and flues resulting in death due to respiratory/cardio failure!

Moving bowls deadly to elderly, straining causes strokes and heart attacks!

Driving a car is killing not just the elderly, but others too!

Common household items proven dangerous to the elderly. Footstools, extension cords, and pet cats are killers!

(Actually, my Christmas dog tries to push me over EVERY time I come home. I think that he wants to rip my throat out. Vicious Shih Tzu!))
