Do you really worry so much about the screen that looking through a piece of film when you read is acceptable? To me it would be like trying to read with dirty glasses.

My grandmother had vinyl covers custom made for all the furniture in her living room. 15 years later the furniture looked like new (through the plastic) but everyone who ever sat on that stuff was uncomfortable.

When does the screen ever come into contact with anything but the inside of the cover?
