Argh! This Windows machine continues to thwart me.

@jackie_w: Thanks for the instructions. Unfortunately, when I attempted to reassign the drive letters, I got "Unable to connect to Logical Disk Manager Service."

@quisvir: Huge thanks for the link (so glad I didn't attempt to install Visual Studio). Unfortunately, when I tried to install the redistributable, I was told I don't have administrator privileges!

Nevertheless, I really appreciate both your help.
