Video editing on the iPad

Hi all,

I am working on a video at the moment, but I am working abroad and going back and forth between home and hotel, and I don't want to carry my laptop with me. So I'd like to find an iPad app that allows me to do some simple editing so that I can try things out before redoing them later on the laptop with Final Cut. I'm not planning to create the final version of the video on the iPad, but I'd like to play with the sound and make a sort of sketch of what the final video will look like with all the sound clips selected and more or less in place.

I wanted to buy iMovie, but I can't, because the latest version is only compatible with iOS 5, and I haven't upgraded yet. How stupid is that? Anyway, I looked around and found an app called ReelDirector that seems OK, but I'm not sure how good it is with sound, which is what I'm mostly working with at this stage of my project.

Anybody tried ReelDirector? What do you think of it? Any other app to suggest?
