I love how Robin Hobb aims for trilogies. Many of the trilogies are connected but they can also stand alone. They are well written delivered in a timely fashion, and cannot be used for door stops.

I'll read the rest of this series when he finishes publishing the books. Waiting 5 years or more for the next book in a series is inexcusable.
