I was considering a Kindle Touch as well but then I spent some time with the Nook Simple Touch and realized that, in order to use a touchscreen, you must avoid inadvertently touching the screen. The Nook Simple Touch has a nice wide bezel which gives you something to hold onto. The Kindle Touch and the Kobo Touch have a very narrow bezel, which I think would be a problem. If the Nook Simple Touch were selling below $100 it would be a viable option for me, but at this point I'm looking at the $79 K4. My only concern is whether, after getting used to the touch screen of my Nook 1E, I'd find the page turn buttons of the K4 to be off-putting. I'm going to go to Best Buy next week to spend some time with the K4 and see what I think of it.
