Changing the screensaver on the Kindle (not using PC)?
Ok, I tried to find an answer to this but it's a hard one to google.
I installed the screensaver hack to show the book cover of the book I'm currently reading. All good there. Now, to not have to hook it up to the PC (and incidentally to not look bad in front of my Sony ereader owner-friend) I would love it if I could change the screensaver image without use of the PC. So basically, I would want this to happen using a keyboard shortcut or something along those lines.
- pick an image located outside of the screensavers folder or making a screenshot of another cover/current screen
- copy that to the screensaver folder
- remove the previous cover image from the screensaver folder.
- possibly perform a quick reboot after that
I haven't found any hint of being able to do this, though it seems to me it should be possible. If anyone know if there's a way to do this I would love to hear it.
