Does not take too much of a 'mental stretch' to envision this happening imho. Amazon can easily do this anytime.

I think that we need to let Amazon know that the majority of Kindle 3G users do not want restricted web access. Best way to do this is to E-mail them and avoid purchasing the new Touch 3G Kindles that have this restricted web accress.
