Cloudy
The sky is gray and white and cloudy,
Sometimes I think it's hanging down on me.
And it's a hitchhike a hundred miles.
I'm a rag-a-muffin child.
Pointed finger-painted smile.
I left my shadow waiting down the road for me a while.
Cloudy
My thoughts are scattered and they're cloudy,
They have no borders, no boundaries.
They echo and they swell
From Tolstoy to Tinker Bell.
Down from Berkeley to Carmel.
Got some pictures in my pocket and a lot of time to kill.

Good morning, all. Yes, still raining in Kyoto. I pity the poor farmers who were too slow to cut their rice last week... Much more difficult now that it's flattened! Anyway, rain rain rain. Big mug of Taylors of Harrogate's "Yorkshire" tea in front of me this morning... Nice.

That's it! The smokiness of the tea reminds me of sitting in front of the fireplace in my cabin deep in the woods of Vermont, looking out at the rain while reading a good book! (That cabin was just washed away in the severe flooding that hit Vermont last month...

) I buy McNulty's "Extra Smoky Lapsang Souchong tea as I really love the smell and taste. I light a piece of Balsam Fir incense, the smell of which mixes nicely with the smoky smell of the tea, and I'm in my own little bit of heaven!
