Thanks for the reply,

It is not working on either my 10.5 machine or my snow leopard laptop. I booted into windows xp and it shows up via the official sony software in that, I can see the books on the device yet I cant get anything to transfer. I upgraded the firmware, but stil no joy.

I used to use it with 10.5 machine

oh and no, no show in disk utility
