Agreed. It's annoying. I've gone back to checking out Epub and using the Kindle only if the other copy is in pdf.

It seems my local library newest books are mostly epub only and only a few new ones have been in Kindle format. I wonder if there is some issue going or the Kindle turnout wasn't enough for them to purchase more copies. They just started adding more epub copies to popular books something they've never done.

I know if you buy a library book from the library site they get a cut but I haven't found any info if you purchase the book through Amazon if your local library benefits from it.
