It's a bit too Rube Goldberg-ian for my taste. I just make a quick note on my Kindle and then look stuff up later when it's convenient.

Twitter doesn't have to involve anyone but yourself if you don't want it to. You can set it up so that you have to approve each and every person who is permitted to see your tweets.
I only mention that because it fits this (vvv) mindset perfectly:
