I just came back from the dentist.
He's very nice and after I explained what had happened the last time he told me he could understand why I was nervous and reassured me that he believes in good pain relief and that if an anaesthetic doesn't work he'll book a new appointment and the next time tries to anaesthetise it differently.
As expected some work needs to be done but not as much as I feared. Next week I'm getting a root canal on the tooth that has lost its filling. Also both of my lower wisdom teeth needs to come out, not because they are rotten but because they're just "not right". I'm glad about that, I knew those wisdom teeth weren't right and I had asked my old dentist about removal but he didn't think that was necessary.
I know I'm going to be nervous next week, but I won't be scared like today.
