Yep, definitely a series worth reading - or rereading. I do wish they'd come out in e-book.
However, as one of my girlfriends and I agreed many years ago, we wouldn't want to be Travis's girlfriend or female lead/interest - they usually seem to have short life expectancies.
When MacDonald died, there were persistent rumours that he had left a last Travis McGee book with "Black" in the title, but I guess not...sigh!
