Sounds like the plugin malfunctioned for some reason, probably font related. I'm able to change font size with my Alt font (Caecilia Heavy 85/86) without any issues. It could be a problem with the font itself. Was the font an OTF or TTF. I know we are supposed to rename fonts with
*.otf to
*.ttf for the plugin to work. The reason I ask is that I briefly owned a Kobo Touch which allowed the use of user side-loaded fonts. I had no problems with TTF but a couple of OTF never worked/rendered quite right.
