Yep that was me.

All you do is remove all payment info from your account. This removes the default payment from the MYK page. Now re-add it to the Payment Methods area in your normal account settings not the MYK page. Now when you go to buy a book it will take you to a confirm page where you have to select the card to use before buying. Make sure 1 click buying is off.
You will have to buy Kindle books from the website on your PC instead of your Kindle. If you buy a book from your Kindle it adds the card used to the default payment settings on the MYK page.
Also if you order a new Kindle, the card you used to purchased the new Kindle will be added as a default payment for Kindle books and you'll have to remove your Card and start over.
I do this with Android apps as well to keep from auto buying.
