The cries of anguish about the Kindle Fire, about the page turn buttons, about on board storage, about memory card storage have been heard now over and over again, loud and clearly..

So what is the latest on the Nook?

Is there a new date for the new Nook?
Will it take care to avoid all the complaints that the Kindle Fire has brought about.
Will it have page buttons without going to the screen.
The Nook people have a chance to "one up" on Amazon.
They need to take it.

I have abandoned thoughts about getting a new Kindle Fire, and have set my sights on either a Lenovo A1, or a Galaxy wifi 5.0 player which is now on Amazon. I got a notice in the mail this morning from my friend Amazon that the Galaxy's price had dropped about $4. Still neither of those items are shipping yet, and I would like to see how the Nook stacks up as a tablet.
My question is what are they doing for audio and video content? People are buying the Fire with no intent of rooting simply because of the Amazon ecosystem and available cloud storage. So, what will the NOOKcolor 2 offer to those who don't want to root?
