Thanks itimpi. It seems that I was not clicking on it as instructed but clicking on the arrow next to the button.
Can you please advice me on how I can transfer books to my device? I have tried right clicking on individual books, selecting "Send to Device", "Send specific format to" ... but all the options are greyed out. Is this suggesting that calibre is not "seeing" my device?

Thanks trevgriff ... I guess that answers my last post. Looking for the beta now.
