IMO emailing is the best way to go, since amazon also backs up whatever you're sending to the device in the cloud providing 5GB of free storage/backup. The only thing that won't work when you send through email is dictionary.

To find your kindle email address, login to your amazon account -> manage your kindle -> manage your devices. You'll see your device's email address next to the kindle you've registered.
