There's a new world somewhere
They call The Promised Land
And I'll be there some day
If you will hold my hand
I still need you there beside me
No matter what I do
For I know I'll never find another you

There is always someone
For each of us they say
And you'll be my someone
For ever and a day
I could search the whole world over
Until my life is through
But I know I'll never find another you

Good morning, everyone! It was a lovely three-day weekend, but the work week has begun once again... but not for me!
I'm going to squeeze another long ride in today, and see if I can get some more photos of the farmers cutting and drying the new rice. It looks as if it will be a bountiful harvest this year, but I doubt that the rice prices will go down. Rice is subsidized here, and anyone with a few meters planted to rice can get included in the subsidy. Same if you plant a few persimmon trees. The government looks very kindly at the farmers. I wonder if my veranda can qualify?

But first... tea... Lots of tea! Today will be Taylors of Harrogate's "English Breakfast" tea! That's strong enough to get me moving!
