Well, there are situations where the T1 will flash twice, or do multiple partial updates instead of one single flash.
I think it's those cases where it shows up as "flashing too much". Possibly some tweaking needed in the display drivers they are using. Just reading has been fine for me, no different than the previous models, and doesn't ghost like my 950 and 650 have done (especially when going to sleep).
