The ereaders the OP uses now flash during page turns, so flashing itself isn't his concern. I am wondering how he perceives this flashing to be different from his PRS950.

Personally my 950 does great and has a longer screen which is very nice. I just bought the 950 a week before the T-1 was announced so I might buy a new ereader in a couple of years.
