Ah, I see what you're saying. But I was mishearing "which it stands" as "witches stands" so it was even more jumbled up than that. Probably the teachers I had were from more Eastern parts (I know one was from Georgia). For you young whipper-snappers, they actually used to
teach the Pledge of Allegiance in school.
