I loved Neuromancer when it came out, but I haven't read it in years.

I'm more worried about what they do to The Caves of Steel. I didn't know they were filming that. I can see the producers meeting now:

'What do you mean, they drive around a bit and talk to some people while trying to work out who the murderer is? That's just talking heads. No one's going to pay money for that. Where are the special effects? Where are the explosions? Can we have a car chase? It worked in I Robot. And how about making the robots the size of Transformers? Why don't we make them run amok and destroy a small city? Why don't we make this R Daneel Olivaw character more like Robocop or The Terminator? And where's the guy with Parkinsons' who does the shakey cam stuff? That'll liven it up.
