Nicely done! My French isn't particularly fluent. It's the old, "learned it in school, then years later spent time in Montreal" variety. So I'm struggling with the translation too.

I think it asks what the difference is between a box (bowl?) and a jar of canned vegetables. And the answer is that in the jar the peas are green, but in the bowl the fish are gold.

I give up. Just smile and nod politely. There's no accounting for humor in a people who call toes "foot fingers".
