Couldn't agree more. I joined this forum for this very reason - wanting to find out how to add my children to the kindle family. Seems somewhat absurd that Amazon does not have this setup more seamless (parental controls, etc).
They could make some type of Family Program - allowing the parent to control all content. Simple radio buttons next to each book/movie,etc. Either choose 'all' or select each individually:
* ALL
* K3 dad
* K3 mom
* KFIRE brat1
* KFIRE brat2
Each family member gets there own 'last page read' marker on same book, etc. Seems this would be simple enough.
