I just roasted some chicken legs in a large skillet (remember; this HAS a handle).
Carefully with an oven mitt I took the skillet out from the oven and put it on top.
Reached for some tongs to take the legs out and ... foolish me ... grabbed the handle with the other hand.
OUCH... The friggin thing was HOT.
Luckily; it seems to be mostly one thumb that is burnt.
Guess that will teach me not to have chicken, eh ?
