I never really got into poetry. I know who William Blake is because I like his art, but for my guess here, I'm going with Lord Byron just because he is the only other poet from the 18th century whose name I can remember.
You didn't correct Bilbo when he said he thought it was an older poet, so I'm going with that assumption. If it is wrong tell us what century its from.
