Actually, you're not that far off. This book did have a big impact on revising financial systems in the U.S.

In my opinion the author is one of the greatest authors of the 20th century. He ranks right up there with Hemingway, Faulkner, Joyce, and Woolf (and I don't even care for Faulkner, Joyce, and Woolf).
