Anyone reading "The Cat's Table" by Michael Ondaatje?
The kEpub version on the Touch seems to missing portions of paragraphs. For instance the end of the section describing the boat leaving the port, in Kobo Desktop reads
Quote:
The crew had been struggling to force him down the rope ladder, however as there was a danger of his falling to his death, they were now capturing him fishlike in a net, and in this way they lowered him down safely. It seemed to be in no way an embarrassment to the man, but the episode clearly was to the officials of the Orient Line who were on the bridge, furious in their white uniforms. The passengers cheered as the tug broke away. Then there was the sound of the two-stroke and the pilot’s weary singing as the tug disappeared into the night.

OH... more interesting... It's related to font sizing!
When I decrease the font, the text goes as far as
Quote:
It seemed to be in no way an embarrassment to the man, but the episode clearly was to the officials of the Orient Line

with a partially displayed line (yes... infamous damaged text) of
Quote:
who were on the bridge, furious in their white

This is using a font called "Lora" with Font Size in the middle of the slider, both Line Spacing and Margins set at 0, and justification at what I would call "ragged".
Changing to Georgia seems to work better!
