In some countries they mostly sell the cold colours. In the Netherlands we like soft, warm colours. The warmest colour all the big manufacturers make that comes closest to incandescent light bulbs is number 827. The 8 stands for the quality and the 27 means 2700 Kelvin, and a 950 is a daylight colour quality 9 (you judge colours, often used by printers) 5000 K and a 640 is a low quality cool colour, etc. A
wikilink) with explanation. There is one very small manufacturer called Dura that makes energy saving light bulbs in colour 825 which is even warmer. Philips sells the flame/terracotta energy saving light bulbs but due to rules they are rather pale.
A local electronics store sells those coloured plastic sheets for disco lights in "pale gold" which is a light terracotta, depending on the light fixture you could get creative with that to make the light even softer.
