No man is perfect but some seem to rise above and capture peoples imagination. I have a feeling that Steve's positive and negative traits are going to pretty similar to many of the other well known and regarded entrepnuers (sp) in history. While he was not the sole force behind Apple, he is the face that many people recognize.
He was willing to take risks at Apple and Pixar that lead to the development of some amazing devices and movies. He was someone who helped to push the envelop and in doing so changed the world that we live in.
The day after his death I think it polite and respectful to acknowledge that one of the people who was known for his innovative spirit and risk taking behavior, whose decisions helped to chang the world we live in, has passed. There will be plenty of time and books and articles discussing what he did right and what he did wrong. We all know that they are coming.
Today I feel sorry for his family and friends who have lost someone that they loved and cherished.
