Yeah, I know what you mean. I remember the "good old days" (in the 1980s
), when I was up on all the latest technology. Now the tables have turned; my daughter teaches me.
She's a young adult now, and she pays for her own smartphone, etc. I've never had one. When she showed me how her phone can broadcast wifi to her laptop (and my Kindle) I was amazed. Now I'm wondering what else I'm missing out on. Maybe it's best that I don't know.
