1.Well you could tell B&N to fix them or to refund you - if they have actually sold you a heap of C**P you don't have to accept it!

2. but could be you are confusing physical page numbers, as in paper books, with e-reader "pages" ? what format(s) did you buy - pdf, epub or something else ? ( dunno how nook does "page numbers" but on other readers they don't necessarily equate to the numbers you'd see in a paper book index. ).

3. if you call B&N customer service, please tell us what they say.

4. you'll need to find plug-ins to strip DRM before you can edit the books in calibre, if you plan on fixing them yourself. that info is not available here - you have to google it.
