The iPhone has been the single most important improvement in my 'gadget' life, perhaps even more important than my Sony 505. I knew that someday a 'Star Trek' communicator would evolve, but I never imagined sooooooo many useful functions could be included! Although I don't make or receive many calls, I find myself using my iPhone a dozen times a day; everything from looking up something on Google, finding my way with the GPS, checking my e-mail, maintaining my shopping list, checking flight status on trips, currency conversions, taking a quick photo of something I want to find in a store, and of course, using the built-in iPod to listen to music, listen to an audio tape, watch a video while waiting for a doctor's appointment... the list is almost endless! All it's lacking is a built-in tea dispenser!

Speaking of which, I've just brewed up a mug of Taylors of Harrogate's "English Breakfast" tea! Delightful.

So, thank you, Steve Jobs. You may have made a lot of enemies along the way, but you certainly changed the way I interact with the world around me!
